*Cheetahs have semi-retractable claws.
*Kings Cheetahs are caused by a rare mutation of a recessive gene.
*Other rare morphs of color for the Cheetah are speckles, melanism, albinism and gray coloration.
*Cheetahs thrive in vast areas of land with abundant prey.
*Females Cheetahs can have up to nine cubs at a time!!
*Cheetahs cannot roar.
*Cheetahs hunt by their vision and not by their preys sent.
*Recent evidence has shown that Cheetahs will not attack and eat livestock if they can avoid doing so, as they prefer to eat their wild prey.
*Cheetahs are listed by the IUCN as vulnerable.
*Cheetahs that live in southern Africa woodlands have ranges as little as 13 sq mi while in some parts of Namibia they can reach 580 sq mi.

The Feline of the week is Lions:
*The IUCN has listed Lions in general as vulnerable.
*There are 8 different recognized lion subspecies that exist in the world:
-West African Lion
-Northeast Congo Lion
-southwest African or Katanga Lion
-Azandica or nubica known to be native to Ethiopa
*Here are different names of lion hybrids:
-Liger (Male lion and a tigress)
-Tiglon (Lioness and male Tiger)
-Leopon (Male leopard and a lioness)
-Jaglion (Male Jaguar and a lioness)
*Normally there hybrids are infertile but I found something that says some can be infertile so here are the hybrids from the hybrids listed above : (The female lepjag/jagulep are fertile
-Iijagulep (Male lion with a female jagulep or lepjag)
-leoliguar (Male lion-Jaguar female with a leopard)
Now days Zoo's normally don't breed lion hybrids except to breed ligers are their main focus is to breed the lion as a pur
